Best Ever Roasted Asparagus - the best side dish with asparagus that you can make in under 10 minutes. Infused with garlic, lemon and topped with Parmesan cheese this asparagus is irresistible!
Serve with chicken, pork or seafood for a quick last-minute side, just like my roasted carrots or the popular roasted Brussels sprouts!

One of my favorite Spring vegetables is hands-down asparagus. It's so easy to prepare as a side dish and can be added to light pasta dishes. This roasted asparagus is truly the best ever! The addition of garlic, Parmesan and a zest of lemon makes it irresistible.
Ingredients:
- asparagus
- butter
- olive oil
- garlic
- lemon zest
- Parmesan cheese
- salt and pepper
Instructions:
- Start by trimming the ends of each asparagus spear. Simply snap the ends off or trim about 2 inches off the end. Wash the asparagus and pat dry with paper towels.
- Arrange asparagus on a large baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Combine butter, olive oil, minced garlic, and lemon zest. Drizzle over asparagus and toss to coat.
- Sprinkle shredded Parmesan cheese on top.
- Roast for 8 to 10 minutes in the 400 degrees F oven. Serve.

Serving:
Roasted asparagus is a great side dish with chicken, pork or seafood. Roasted Asparagus
Ingredients
- 1 lb asparagus
- 1 tablespoon unsalted butter melted
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 teaspoons minced garlic
- 2 teaspoons lemon zest
- ¼ cup of freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
