Air Fryer Pork Chops

The heatwave is back in Kansas and I am not looking forward to turning on my oven. Thanks to my air fryer, I can still bake and roast! It's so convenient and easy to clean up afterward. Since I had a family pack of boneless pork chops and my fresh mix of dry rub, I whipped up this recipe for dinner and it was a hit.

Just 4 ingredients are all you need to make it. Especially if you already have a dry rub on hand. My recipe is made with pantry staples and adds sweet spice to the pork. It's delicious!

Ingredients:

  • pork chops: center-cut, boneless
  • dry rub (I used my homemade mix)
  • olive oil
  • salt and pepper
Ingredients for air fryer pork chops on a board.

How to cook pork chops in the air fryer?

  • Start mixing dry rub with olive oil.
  • Brush the mixture on pork chops, both sides.
  • Preheat the air fryer to 375 degrees F for 4 minutes.
  • Arrange chops in the basket or on the rack and place in the air fryer.
  • Cook for 8 minutes.
  • Remove and cool slightly. Serve.

How long to cook pork chops in the air fryer?

These pork chops are boneless and about ¼" thick. They were done in 8 minutes! The thicker the chops, the longer they will cook.

Can I use an air fryer with a basket?

Absolutely! I prefer the air fryer with racks because we are a family of 5 and I can cook more food at the same time. The results between the two types of air fryers are pretty comparable in my experience.

If you are using a basket air fryer, you may need to flip the chops halfway through the baking time, since the basket is closer to the bottom of the appliance.

What to serve with these pork chops?

Since this dish is on the healthier side, I recommend serving it with these dishes:

  • Best Sauteed Spinach
  • Roasted Brussels Sprouts
  • Roasted Potatoes and Carrots
  • No Mayo Potato Salad
  • Sauteed Kale with Bacon
  • Air Fryer Corn on the Cob
