Easy Garlic Cheese Bombs Recipe - biscuit bombs filled with gooey mozzarella, brushed with garlic Ranch butter and baked into perfection. Easy, fast and absolutely addicting!
Meet the babies of the all-time popular Easy Cheesy Garlic Bread. Your new favorite party appetizer and snack.
EASY GARLIC CHEESE BOMBS
How can you ever say no to a warm, garlic butter roll filled with gooey cheese? I always say I can never give up cheese, bread and chocolate. I can take a break from it, but it would be really hard to give it up entirely. We are huge fans of appetizers and game day food and it seems like all of them are bread and cheese related. Needless to say, these babies are here to stay! And we already have more plans for them! π
How to make Garlic Cheese Bombs?
Can things get any easier than opening a can of biscuits (BTW! Do you freak out when it pops? I totally do!!), placing a square piece of mozzarella and pinching the seams. For this recipe, I used about 3 oz. of the cheese, cubed into ΒΎ" pieces. You may have some leftover. You need 10 pieces for 10 biscuits. Then they are ready for a little garlic Ranch butter brush and off to the oven they go for 14 minutes. They are best served while still warm and dipped in marinara sauce. Woah!
Tips for making the best Cheese Bombs:
- You may know by now, that Ranch seasoning mix is my secret ingredient in a lot of dishes. I used it in my Cheesy Garlic Bread, my Spinach Dip Cheesy Bread, Spinach Dip Chicken Pasta and others. It's fantastic!
- For cheese, I use mozzarella that I buy in a brick. I am using buttermilk biscuits, regular size (not jumbo). I buy mine at ALDI.
- You can use fresh garlic for stronger garlic flavor or store bought minced for more mellow flavor.

How to Serve Garlic Cheese Bombs?
I highly recommend serving marinara sauce along side of the cheese bombs. If you don't have any, simply mix crushed tomatoes with 1 packet of Ranch seasoning mix. You may have to add some salt and pepper. Bam! Easy-peasy!

Help! Iβm English! Is βbiscuit doughβ scone mix here? Have never seen it ready made ANYWHERE! Would an unbaked pizza base dough work? Are we aiming for βbreadyβ or βsconeyβ With the bombs? Also, what herbs and spices would be in ranch mix? I may have to do that from scratch.
Anna@CrunchyCreamySweet says
Hi Vanessa! You definitely want them on the "bready" side. Pizza dough will work best. Ranch mix has buttermilk powder, dried parsley, dill and chives, garlic and onion powders and of course salt and pepper. There is a lot of recipes online for a homemade version. I hope this helps! Let me know!

Hi can I make these in advance and then just bake them the day of the event?
Thanks

Hi Jillian! I am afraid the biscuit dough will dry out. I recommend making them the same day you will serve them. I hope this helps!

These are disgraceful, immoral, and I am sure somewhere illegal! To hide the evidence EVERYONE ate every single one on the plate. Then asked for more! What a pleasure to make and serve! The kids went wild for them. (and they hate everything) 5 stars on this one. Will be making again, and again. Barb Karr

White Wings makes the biscuits in a can product - located in the refrigerator section of all supermarkets - itβs the same as the Pillsbury product in the US,.

Thank you, Maggie! This is so helpful!

Hi! I would love to try these out, but I don't know where I would get buiscits in a can. We don't have tose here in Croatia. Do you know a recipe to make them from scratch?
Tanya says
I would try searching up a homemade biscuit recipe on Pinterest. That's what I do for literally everything I wanna try my hand at that I don't already have a recipe for! π
Michelle K Drozdibob says
Dobro dan, Martina. I think you should make a nice soft bread dough and take a pinch about 2 inches big. Flatten it into a disc, then put cheese on top, pinch ends tight to enclose cheese and proceed to shape gently into a ball. Proceed with baking directions. -
