Orange Cranberry Smoothie - my two favorite winter fruits in one fabulous smoothie!
Aren't you glad it's the smoothie season? Actually, in our house - it's always smoothie season! They are super quick and easy to make and always so delicious! Simply select your favorite fruit, add milk, ice, maybe some oats, yogurt and you have one satisfying drink that will make every tummy happy.
Since I got my new blender, making smoothies became so fun! My kids can't stop giggling when I turn it on and we watch all the good-for-you ingredients being whirled into one creamy, frothy beverage. It's just so fun!
I have lots of bags of frozen cranberries in my freezer and after making this Orange Cream Smoothie, I couldn't help myself and combine the two into one delicious drink!

Enjoying smoothies is even more fun now since we have glass straws. I received a set of glass straws from Glass Dharma (the original glass straw maker) to give them a try. And you know what? We love them! I am all for using less plastic or eliminating it completely. These straws are easy to clean and so convenient. They come in an array of sizes, depending on what drink you are going to enjoy or what size of cup you are going to use. No more paper or plastic straws that are good for one drink. Now, everyone in the family can have their own! After you are done enjoying your beverage, you simply rinse the straw and it's sparkling again! You can also place them in your dishwasher!
