Mexican Layer Dip - quick and easy 5-layer dip with refried beans, guacamole, seasoned sour cream, salsa and cheese. Perfect for parties!

If I don't serve my Chili Queso Dip ( the best queso from scratch recipe! ), I make this layered dip. It is always a hit!

MEXICAN 5 LAYER DIP

Mexican Layered Dip is a must for any party, get-together or especially a game day in our house. Layers of deliciousness packed into one irresistible dip. This dip is made of layers of my favorite Mexican food ingredients. Refried beans and my guacamole with taco-spiced sour cream are already delicious. Add flavor-bursting salsa or pico de gallo and a layer of shredded cheese and this dip will be gone in no time!

Mexican 5 Layer Dip Ingredients:

  • refried beans
  • guacamole
  • sour cream
  • taco seasoning
  • salsa or pico de gallo
  • shredded Mexican blend cheese
  • black olives
  • cilantro (or parsley)

How to make Easy Mexican 5 Layer Dip?

  • Mix sour cream with taco seasoning.
  • In a regular 9" pie plate, layer: refried beans, guacamole, taco spiced sour cream, salsa or pico de gallo.
  • Top with shredded cheese.
  • Garnish dip with sliced olives and chopped cilantro.
  • Serve immediately or cover with saran wrap and refrigerate until serving.
  • Serve with crispy tortilla chips.

Can I make this dip ahead of time?

The dip is ready to be served right after making but you can also cover it with a saran wrap and refrigerate until serving. Serve with crispy tortilla chips and watch it disappear. It is so good!

Made this dip and took to church volleyball night and put it on potluck snacks table. One guy was just eating it straight without chips, said he couldn't get enough of it!
