I could marvel over these perfect tops forever. The Bakery Style Double Chocolate Muffins you can see on my sidebar have been tempting me to create another version. With a seasonal fruit this time. And so I did.

I am currently stocking up on cranberries for a whole year. I pop bags of them into my freezer so I can make these muffins on any day.

My kiddos loved them. Just remember we are dealing with fresh cranberries that are a tarty fruit. You can melt some butter and dip each cooled muffin into it and then roll the top in sugar if you don’t think they are sweet enough. I am a huge fan of cranberries and I loved the muffins as shown on photos.

  1. This is total comfort in a bite!!! Beautiful! I have been craving muffins and will totally be making this!

  2. 1. There wouldn’t be any left for me to share. YUM! 2. My freezer is bursting with cranberries. 3. This is the best muffin flavor combo, yet!

  3. I am all about cranberries this year. I love their tart taste and how they burst in your mouth. Love this muffin!

  4. Can I make these with dried cranberries? I live in a tiny town that has a very poorly stocked grocery store unfortunately, so I don’t have access to fresh cranberries!

    • Hi Erin! Absolutely! You can also soak them in orange juice and cook over medium heat to make them more plump. Hope this helps!

  5. These look amazing! Would it be okay to make the dough the night before and refrigerate? I’m hoping to just pop them in the oven in the morning. Thank you for the great recipe!

    • Hi Kassi! I do not recommend refrigerating the batter over night. The muffins will not rise properly. This recipe is super easy so it won’t take long in the morning to make them. Hope this helps! Let me know if you make them! Thank you!
