Monthly Favorites August 2017 - my favorites for the month of August include small appliance, kitchen and food products. Check it out!

It's this time of month again. Time to look back at August and talk about my new favorite products that I tried and need to tell you about!

Before we get to the fun stuff, I would like to take a moment and send love and prayers to all of those in Texas that have been affected by the hurricane Harvey. It is heartbreaking to see the images coming from Houston and areas that were flooded. My family and I, as I am sure many of you as well, feel the need to help. As a mom, I am always thinking about other moms and their babies when tragedies happen. When I heard about the Texas Diaper Bank, I knew that's what I wanted to do. I am currently putting together a package with baby products (diapers, wipes, etc.) with my kiddos' help. I encourage you to research too and find ways to help those who so desperately need it.

I am also sending love and prayers to Oregon and Montana. Those areas are dealing with devastating fire right now. There are a lot of firefighters that are working around the clock and have not been home for weeks.

The month of August was special. We celebrated our oldest daughter's 11th birthday. I cannot believe it's already been 11 years since she was born! The time is definitely going too fast! We also, spend as many nights as we could in our RV by the lake. You guys, not much beats lake sunsets. So gorgeous!!

1.Mugs

I found this mug at Hobby Lobby, while walking through the aisles. It called me! That is so me! I am not a morning person at all. I tried, you guys. It's just not working for me. I love evenings and I stay up till late, working or reading. Of course, I only took a photo of this mug to share on my Instagram Stories and never bought it. Now I can't find it! Next time I see it, I will grab it for sure. Plus, it's ginormous so I can have even more coffee in the morning.

2. Airfryer

Have you got on the air fryer craze yet? I recently received the XL Digital Family Airfryer from Kalorik. It takes a little bit to learn how it operates, as I found the instructions not super specific but this is my new favorite way to cook foods that would otherwise be fried. Store-bought fries? No problem. Done in half the time, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. I did have one failed bag but I think it was the brand. I had it happen with the same brand before, while baking them in the oven. We also love onion rings baked in the airfryer. So crispy! Perfect for football season! I really want to attempt baking a cake in this appliance. I am wondering what the texture will be like. If you are interested in recipes using the Airfryer, let me know! 3. Sunkist Snacks

These real fruit snacks are a family favorite around here. The Sunkist Trail Mix blends and their Fruit Chips are so delicious! We always take them with us on our RV trips and picnics. Everyone in the family seems to have a favorite blend. My 6-year-old loves the mango dark chocolate blend. I absolutely love Breakfast Espresso and Granola blend. I snack on it or eat it with Greek yogurt. So good!

4. Ebates
