Homemade Peach Schnapps – a fruity liqueur for your summer cocktails! You won’t believe how easy it is to make!
My favorite summer fruit happens to be also my favorite cocktail flavor. Peach! I can never tire of them! I love eating them fresh (more like devouring!), baking with them, jamming them and infusing them into my drinks. I wish they were in season all year long.
HOMEMADE PEACH SCHNAPPS
One of my favorite summer margaritas is a combination of peaches and mango along with alcohol and it makes one fantastic cocktail. It’s absolutely delicious! To make it at home and then relax on the patio – sounds like a great summer day to me. Since peach schnapps is an important ingredient, I’ve had it on my try-to-make-it-at-home list for a while. And it finally happened.
HOW TO MAKE PEACH SCHNAPPS?
This recipe requires fruit, high proof alcohol, like Everclear®, simple syrup and a tablespoon of lemon juice. Yep! Only 4 ingredients are needed to make this homemade peach schnapps! And that’s not all. There is no need to wait for weeks for it to be ready to use. In two days the liqueur is ready to be added to the cocktail mix and enjoyed. Win-win!
CAN I USE OTHER FRUITS TO MAKE SCHNAPPS?
Yes! Use any fruit you like. I want to make a blackberry, raspberry, and pineapple version too!
