Wow this compilation of recipes was a life saver for all those countless frozen bananas in my freezer- I was on the brink of tossing them all out to make room but, compelled by my guilt of wasting food, I looked for exactly what this page has: so many tasty sounding recipes! I think the bananas will be eaten one way or another after all.

I love that you mentioned how many bananas are used in each recipe; this was my starting point, I had too many over ripe bananas and needed a recipe which uses most! 🙂

Great post! My favorite way to use them up is in muffins, yum! I also love freezing them for future recipes.

I smash each one into a ziplock sandwich baggie, get all the air out and freeze them. When I want to bake with them, they are perfect to use even if they are a bit brown. They are great for banana bread and last in the freezer for a long time.
