Homemade Salted Caramel Frappuccino Recipe - my favorite coffee shop drink in it's lighter, homemade version. So easy and absolutely delicious!
These past two days has been absolutely gorgeous here in Kansas. Sunny mornings, upper 70s, light breeze - perfection! Warm, sunny days have me craving iced coffee drinks with a tall whipped cream topping. And a drizzle of caramel. Yes, definitely a drizzle of caramel.
You may already know that I love making coffee creamers and coffee drinks in my own kitchen instead of standing in line of a coffee shop. It's easier, quicker and cheaper.
It's also so much more fun to enjoy my favorite frappe while reading a book on the patio, enjoying the outdoors and watching my kiddos playing on their swing set. Not in a car, trying to navigate traffic.
Add a slow cooker dinner that cooks itself (oh, how I love those!!) and I can have a really relaxing afternoon. Spring is in full bloom and I want to soak up every drop of sunshine I can. I didn't realize how much I was craving it until this month. Waking up to birds happily chirping, sun rays falling into our bedroom through window blinds, fresh breeze - all that gives me energy and puts a smile on my face.
This frappuccino takes 40 seconds of high speed in my blender and another ten to be dressed up with a generous swirl of whipped cream and a drizzle of caramel sauce. I used ice, strong coffee, half-n-half, caramel sauce and vanilla extract to make this delicious mixture. Few ingredients, under a minute in a blender and I had a tall frappuccino ready for sipping. It's not too sweet, so adjust the amount of caramel sauce to your own taste. You can use a coconut whipped cream to make it even skinnier. Most of all, enjoy it outdoors - it's the best that way!

I don't have a rating because I haven't tried the recipe yet, but omg it sound like it tastes just like the actual Starbucks Salted Caramel Mocha Frappuccino! I am extremely wowed by this. I can't wait to try!

I will make a post about actually attempting the little recipe 🙂 Good news it worked! I used 2% milk instead of half and half because I just don't keep half and half on hand like I do regular milk. And I made my own Carmel sauce to go with this recipe. I checked out the Mocha version of this and it is so similar I plan of repeating these instructions but substituting homemade chocolate syrup into this instead of the Carmel sauce. Overall I enjoyed saving myself a trip to the store for this milky gem, plus the money. $4-5 for Carmel flavored milk is such a rip off in my opinion. I'm a regular "at-home" baker so I have ingredients on hand to make extra things like this possible.... It is very good and great inspiration..... As I take another sip of this tasty treat 😉

Best drink ever. The only thing that stops me from having one every day is the price. Now that isn't an issue. Love!
