Monthly favorites: January 2017 - my favorite things from this month!
Hi friends! It's time to share my favorite products of the month! I can't say that January just flew by, it actually felt quite slow. But I did have a chance to try new products and quite a bit of them are now my new favorites.
In my Monthly Favorites series I share my current obsessions with food products, kitchen items, sometimes even home and beauty. You can see my first post, HERE. If you recently discovered a product and love it – tell me about it in the comment section below! I’d love to see it!

Nourished Planner
I am a total planner girl and can't live without one. It helps me organize my work and our family life. I am quite picky so up to this point, I couldn't find a planner I liked and one that would cover all of my requirements. I was using a bullet journal but I found that it was taking too much time to make each page from scratch. I like the system, I just needed something with ready to fill pages. Then I learned about the Nourished Planner and it is the best planner I have found to date! This is a project collab from Heidi, the creator of FoodieCrush Magazine and Alexa of Simple Roots Wellness. It is made by bloggers but anyone that likes food and cook will love it. It is simple in design, yet has what I need: a space to plan and write my menu for the week, a shopping list and a ton of inspiration for each month. It has a ton of blank space for me to write my weekly goals, to-do lists and quotes that inspire me. You can learn more about this planner here --> https://nourishedplanner.com/
2. Barilla Pronto pasta
You guys, I found my new favorite pasta! If you are a fan of one pan pasta dishes, you will LOVE this new pasta from Barilla. Their Pronto line is a one pan, no boil and no drain idea. And it is exactly that! It tastes absolutely fantastic too! I recently partnered with Barilla on a video project (you can check it out HERE. ) which led me to discover this product. I just wish I knew about it sooner! Now, I use it once a week for a hearty and quick pasta dinner. My whole family loves it!
3. Goldfaden MD Fresh A Peel
These are actually my three favorite items from the January POPSUGAR Must Have Box. I've been looking for a good soy candle and this one from Glade has the scent of coconut, star fruit, hibiscus and beach woods. I am obsessed with it! I am also enjoying the Peppermint Tea from Dean & Deluca. But the facial peel from Goldfaden MD is my very favorite. It truly leaves my face feel extremly clean, fresh and bright. I love that it does not have a scent as I tend to be quite sensitive to a strong scented skin care. This peel is a gel that I apply 3 times a week, in the evening, to my face, leave it for 3 to 5 minutes, wash it off and apply moisturizer. I highly recommend it! This peel is quite pricey (retails for $85) but the box is only $39.95 a month, so you definitely get a great value. You can sign up to get your box here --> https://goo.gl/UJdrGV . Use code SHOP5 to get $5 off your first box.
I am in a partnership with POPSUGAR and this box was sent to me to try.
3. Pie Calendar from Wild Ink Press and Simply Recipes
New year calls for a new hanging calendar. This is a calendar and a pie cookbook in one! Each month has a recipe for a pie on the back. At the end of the year, you can assemble it into a cookbook you will have forever. This is a project collab by Elise from Simply Recipes and Wild Ink Press. This calendar is letterpress printed which means that the pages are pressed by the printer. So beautiful! To learn more about this product and purchase, click HERE.
4. New Mugs
I found these mugs on Target's website while browsing last December. Since my Hubby and I have a lot of travel plans for this year, I thought these would be super fun and perfect to enjoy our morning coffee. I am obsessed with the honey pot or belly shaped mugs and definitely need more! 😀 You can find this particular mug --->> here.
5. Freeze-dried herbs from Litehouse
This is another product that I wish I discovered sooner. I was sent a package of products to try from Litehouse and these freeze-dried herbs just blew my mind. Each bottle is quite big, bigger than my regular spice containers. It has fresh herbs that were freeze-dried and active once added to the dish. I love the garlic and parsley but my very favorite is the dill, because I have such a hard time finding dried dill that I like. Add it with a dollop of sour cream to mashed potatoes and boy, they will be delicious!
6. HP WiFi Printer
Last but not least, is the HP DeskJet 3755 printer. I absolutely love it if not only for one reason: thanks to it's WiFi option, I can print photos and documents straight from my phone. Also, I can print from my laptop without any software downloaded, just connecting through WiFi. How cool! But wait. That's not all. This printer can be used in a HP Instant Ink plan, which means that you do not have to run out of ink and buy it in stores. Your printer sends a message to HP when your ink runs low and the package with ink will arrive at your doorstep! Also, I should mention that this is all-in-one printer: prints, scans and copies. You can purchase this printer on Amazon, HERE.

Oh, what a fun list! I'm especially intrigued by that Nourished Planner because it sounds like something I would adore. And then that pie calendar looks divine and perfect for food bloggers (and people who love food and pies!) Aaaaaaand then new mugs, too. So much happiness in this post, so well done!
