Homemade Butterfinger Bark - your favorite candy in a bark form! Only 3 ingredients needed to make this treat!

Stack of Butterfinger Bark pieces.

BUTTERFINGER BARK

Last year, about this time, I stumbled onto a recipe on Pinterest for homemade Butterfingers. My favorite candy. Next to Reese's cups. And Kit Kat. And Almond Joy. Okay, so it's not the only favorite candy of mine but it's up there in the top 5! I tried the homemade version last year and it was fantastic! Today I am sharing it's bark version on the blog. You only had to wait one year. 🙂

This bark is so ridiculously easy to make, it's crazy! We are talking three ingredients that I bet you already have in your pantry. You can make this into candy bars but the bark takes significantly less time and is equally delicious!

3 Ingredient Homemade Butterfinger Bark

My Hubby and I love Butterfingers! We always try to steal them from the Halloween treat-or-trick bags! 🙂 Now we don't have to! This bark is the real deal. So easy to make and tastes just like Butterfingers. Actually, as soon as you start combining the ingredients - you will smell the Butterfingers! The hardest part is waiting for everything to set up. Then cut and devour!

Looks super good! Can I just melt the candy corn on the stove top until all melted and smooth, and then stir in the room temperature peanut butter? Thanks

I can’t find corn candy anywhere. I’m thinking it’s because if the current season. Can you substitute corn syrup for the corn candy?

My stupid mistake, I overcooked the candy corn so it was way, way too hard and chewy. That being said, I'm still over here chewing away because it tastes FANTASTIC! I got a new microwave and I'm still testing out the power, I guess. Sigh. I suppose I'll have to make another batch...

I've made two batches of this already, with great response. I've given all of them away, because I'm afraid that if they are in the house, I'll eat them all up. The semi-sweet chocolate makes them taste more decadent than the commercial candy bars, and nobody has come close to guessing the ingredients.

Does it come out crunchy like a butterfinger or does it just taste like one?

Hi Susan! Yes, these bars have the crunchy texture of the Butterfingers. Make sure the peanut butter and candy corn mixture is smooth. Reheat if needed. Hope this helps! Thank you!

I've seen candy corn recipes online, however you can buy imported candy corn here in the UK! American food shops carry it and you may be able to find some in large grocery stores which have a US import section, like Tesco.

I wonder...does this filling become crispy like a real butterfinger? Also, does natural pb work here, or does it need to be something like Jif or Skippy?

Oooh, I love this! I tried to make the homemade butterfingers in separate bars but I SUCK at dipping things in chocolate so they turned out hideous. Definitely doing it this way from now on!
