Tiramisu Milkshake Recipe - sweet and creamy shake that tastes just like Tiramisu! Serve with ladyfingers and enjoy!
My newest easy dessert idea on days when I need a quick and easy sweet treat is to simply whip up milkshakes and have fun dressing them up. This Tiramisu Milkshake satisfies my craving for one of my very favorite desserts ever: Tiramisu! Simply blend ice cream with espresso powder and milk and pour into a tall glass. Top with a tall swirl of whipped cream and a dusting of cocoa powder, a couple of lady fingers, and two straws to share.
Tiramisu is known for its creamy and delicious sweet filling layered on coffee-soaked ladyfingers. To recreate the flavors and make this milkshake as close to the real thing as possible, I needed a good vanilla-based ice cream. Breyers® Natural Vanilla is made with fresh cream, sugar, milk, and vanilla beans. It's perfect for this milkshake and perfect for celebrating National Ice Cream Month! You can order Breyer's Natural Vanilla ice cream at Walmart.com and pick it up along with the whipped cream, espresso, and cocoa powders.
It's fun to gather the whole family and create a treat beyond just scoops of ice cream. Everyone loves milkshakes and this one will be a huge hit!
For this recipe, I used decaf espresso powder. I recommend starting with a teaspoon per milkshake and adjusting to taste. Dust with unsweetened cocoa powder over whipped cream and serve with home-baked or store-bought ladyfinger cookies.
