This Honey Butter is made with 3 simple ingredients and whipped until fluffy! No sugar added! This is a delicious addition to any breakfasts and baked goods.
This sweet topping is perfect on blueberry muffins, fluffy pancakes or sweet potatoes!
If you ever feel like your pancakes are missing something and simple maple syrup drizzle doesn't cut it anymore, or maybe the freshly baked muffins could use some jazzing up, this Honey Butter is the answer! It's quick, simple, made with unsalted butter, honey and a splash of vanilla. It's absolutely amazing!
I don't add powdered sugar to my Honey Butter because it tends to take over the flavors. I want the honey to shine! You can add a dash of sea salt, if desired.
Ingredients:
- butter: use unsalted
- honey: I used clover honey
- vanilla extract: use good quality

How to use Honey Butter?
Enjoy this sweet butter on pancakes, waffles, muffins, toast, banana bread and even sweet potatoes!
Do I need to refrigerate it?
As with regular butter, this honey version should be stored in the fridge. Take it out and bring it to room temperature before serving.
Best tips:
- use very soft butter; you should have to use a butter knife to scrape it off the wrapping. It will whip quicker and the end result will be ultra fluffy;
- use good quality vanilla
- use the best honey you can get
- if you don't have a hand mixer, use w whisk; if your butter is soft, you should not have a problem whipping it;

Please tell me a good quality vanilla extract to buy!
Thanks

Hi Sherry! Any pure vanilla extract works here, just not imitation vanilla (the cheap version in the grocery stores). Madagascar vanilla is amazing! I am sure Amazon has good ones. I hope this helps!
