Instructions
Thaw puff pastry sheet on a lightly floured flat surface.
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
Line baking sheet with parchment paper or silicone baking mat. Set aside.
Divide the pastry sheet into three parts (use the seems as a guide).
Cut each part into three squares, by folding one corner towards the upper part of the dough, making a triangle. Cut along the line to make a square.
Make two slits in the folded square, making sure not to cut all the way through.
Open the triangle.
Fold one corner into the center of the square.
Repeat with the opposite corner, forming a diamond.
In a small bowl, whisk together egg and water.
Brush the edges of each diamond with the egg wash.
Place on prepared baking sheet.
Place about 1 tablespoon of cranberry jam into the center of each diamond.
Bake for 13 to 15 minutes, or until the pastries are golden and puffed.
