- 8 oz feta cheese
- ½ cup sour cream
- 1 garlic clove
- 1 teaspoon lemon zest
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
In a food processor, combine feta, sour cream, garlic and lemon zest. I used my trusted Cuisinart smart stick blender.
Process until thick and creamy. Add more sour cream if needed.
Taste the dip and season with salt and pepper. Feta cheese is quite salty so seasoning after mixing is a better option as you can adjust the taste to your likings.
Pour the dip into a serving dish. Make swirls with a spoon and drizzle olive oil into the grooves.
Garnish with crushed red pepper flakes, parsley, roasted garlic, etc.
- I recommend storing leftovers of feta dip in a container with a lid, in the fridge, for up to 4 days. The dip will thicken as it chills. You can re-whip it easily in the food processor.
