These Air Fryer Carrots are a perfect quick side dish for busy weeknights! Cooked in minutes, these carrots are tender and flavorful thanks to simple seasoning mix and salty Parmesan cheese.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb baby carrots
  • 2 teaspoons olive oil
  • ¼ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • ¼ teaspoon paprika
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • parsley for garnish

Instructions

  • If you are using baby carrots, give them a rinse. If you are using regular carrots, peel and wash them. Pat dry with a paper towel and place in a bowl.
  • Drizzle oil over carrots and sprinkle seasoning. Toss everything to coat.
  • Preheat your air fryer to 360° Fahrenheit.
  • Arrange carrots in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  • Cook for 10 to 12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through cooking time.
  • Remove carrots from the air fryer and let cool for a few minutes.
  • Serve garnished with chopped parsley.

Notes

  • Leftovers can be stored in a container with a lid, in the fridge for up to 3 days. To easily reheat them, place them in the air fryer at 360 degrees F, for 2 minutes.
  • Skip the seasoning and Parmesan and use honey or brown sugar and cinnamon for a sweet version of this dish.
