Make these easy Chocolate Truffles with just 2 ingredients! This easy homemade treat can be coated with cocoa powder for the classic look or crushed nuts, sprinkles, or coconut.
Chop chocolate (if using a bar) or chips in a bowl.
12 oz semi-sweet chocolate
Pour cream into a small saucepan and heat up until simmering (do not boil!).
1 cup heavy cream
Pour cream over chocolate. Do not stir!
After 4 minutes, stir the mixture until smooth. You can add extracts at this point.
Pour the mixture into a shallow dish or bowl and chill it in the fridge. I recommend overnight.
Scoop the mixture with a spoon and roll into balls.
Roll each ball in cocoa powder, shredded coconut, sprinkles, etc.
Enjoy!
Notes
I recommend storing truffles in a container with a lid, in the fridge, for up to 2 weeks. You can make them and store them before rolling in toppings.
