Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Line two baking sheets with parchment paper. Set aside.
In a large mixing bowl, stir together egg, butter, cookie mix and flour.
Place a sheet of parchment paper on a flat surface (countertop, large cutting board, etc.).
Place dough onto the paper. Place another sheet of parchment paper on top.
Roll out the dough to ¼" thick disk. If the dough is too sticky, chill for 20 minutes.
Cut out cookies with cookie cutters.
Place cookies on a parchment paper lined baking sheet.
Bake for 8 to 10 minutes or until the edges are golden brown and the cookies are set.
Cool cookies for 2 minutes on sheet, then transfer onto a cooing rack to cool completely.
Spread thin layer of vanilla frosting on each cookie.
Sprinkle crushed candy canes over the frosting.
Serve.
