Homemade Snickers Bars are a copycat that is better than the original! No complicated ingredients which make it easy and done in 30 minutes! Snicker bars lovers - you have to make them!!
Line a 13" x 9" pan with aluminum foil. Set aside.
In a double boiler or a microwave safe dish, melt milk chocolate chips and peanut butter together. Stir until completely smooth.
Pour onto the bottom of prepared pan.
Place in fridge to set.
to make the nougat:
In a medium saucepan, combine butter, sugar and evaporated milk. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly to dissolve sugar. Bring to boil and cook for 5 minutes.
Add marshmallow fluff peanut butter and vanilla. Cook and stir constantly until the mixture is smooth.
Remove from heat and stir in chopped peanuts.
Pour the mixture over set chocolate layer. Spread evenly.
Place pan back in the fridge to set.
to make caramel layer:
Place caramels and heavy whipping cream in a medium saucepan. Cook over medium heat until caramels are melted and the mixture is smooth.
Pour over the nougat layer. Set aside to cool completely.
to make top layer:
In a double boiler or microwave safe dish, melt together chocolate and peanut butter until smooth.
Pour over caramel layer and spread evenly.
Place pan in the fridge to set, preferably for 2 hours.
When set, slice into squares or rectangles. Store in fridge in an air-tight container.
