Place eggs in an air fryer basket, in a single layer. Cook in batches, if needed.
Set temperature to 250 degrees F and timer to 17 minutes.
During the last two minutes of the cooking time, prepare ice bath: place ice cubes and water in a medium or large mixing bowl.
Once the cooking cycle is done, remove eggs with kitchen tongs and place them straight away in an ice bath.
Wait 8 to 10 minutes, then roll the eggs against the wall of the bowl to break the shell. Peel eggs. The shells should easily come off.
Notes
If you want softer eggs, decrease the time. The cooking time varies when it comes to the size of eggs, freshness, and the model of your air fryer. Test it with one or two eggs before cooking a large batch.
You can store hard-boiled eggs in your fridge for up to 1 week.
If your air fryer does not go below 300 degrees F, try different settings than “air fry”. Many times the “bake” setting will let you set the temperature to 250 degrees.
