These easy Shrimp and Sausage Skewers are a simple 15-minute low-carb dinner made on a grill or grill pan. Simple ingredients, lots of spice make these kabobs perfect for busy weekdays!

Prep the shrimp: peel, remove the vein, rinse and pat dry with a paper towel.
1 lb jumbo shrimp
Slice sausage, peppers, and onions (if using).
12 oz smoked sausage
Preheat the grill. Soak wooden skewers in water.
Place shrimp and sausage in a bowl, drizzle with oil and add seasoning. Gently stir together.
2 tablespoons olive oil, 1 ½ teaspoons Cajun seasoning
Place shrimp, sausage, and veggies on skewers.
Place on hot grill and cook 2 to 3 minutes per side. When the shrimp turns pink, flip the skewer and cook the other side.
Remove from grill and let sit for a couple of minutes.
Serve.
Notes
I added peppers and onion for texture and color. You can skip the vegetables or use others, like mushrooms or zucchini.
