This easy Dry Rub is perfect for ribs, chicken, wings, or pork. Made from scratch with pantry staples, it’s a great spice mix to have on hand during grilling season!
½ cup packed brown sugar, 1 tablespoon paprika, 1 teaspoon black pepper, 2 teaspoons salt, 2 teaspoons garlic powder, 2 teaspoons onion powder, ½ teaspoon ground cumin
Place in a ziploc bag or a glass jar with lid.
Store in cool, dry place.
When ready to cook: apply rub at least 30 minutes before grilling. It will give it a chance to mix with the natural juices and stick to the meat. Sprinkle the rub over meat, then rub it in with your hands.
