Pan Fried Noodles

Pan Fried Noodles are one of the easiest Asian dinners you can make under 30 minutes! All you need it noodles, sauce and any stir fry veggies you like.

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil divided
  • 1 medium yellow onion chopped
  • 3 garlic cloves minced
  • 1.5 cups thinly sliced carrots
  • 1 bell pepper red or orange
  • 2 cups cooked noodles see note
  • 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons hoisin sauce
  • 2 teaspoons sesame oil
  • 2 teaspoons cornstarch
  • toasted sesame seeds for garnish
  • 2 green onions chopped, for garnish

Instructions

  1. If your noodles are not cooked, prepare them now. Toss with cold water and 2 teaspoons of oil to prevent sticking. Set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat up one tablespoon of oil over medium heat.
  3. Add onion, garlic and pepper and saute for 3 to 4 minutes.
  4. Add carrots and saute until soft. Remove veggies onto a plate.
  5. Add remaining oil to skillet and cooked noodles. Fry until they start to brown and some are crispy.
  6. Add veggies back to the skillet.
  7. Mix sauce ingredients in a small bowl and add to veggies and noodles.
  8. Stir everything well and cook until the sauce thickens.
