Sauteed Mushrooms

These easy Sauteed Mushrooms are a perfect topping for steak, pork chops, burgers or chicken. You can also serve them over risotto.

  • 16 oz baby bella mushrooms see note
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 3 garlic cloves minced or chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon fresh or dried thyme

  1. Wash and dry mushrooms. Slice into about 1/4" slices (not too thin). You can even just slice them in half if they are particularly small.
  2. In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
  3. Add mushrooms and saute for 2 to 3 minutes.
  4. Add garlic and thyme. Saute for 4 to 5 minutes, or until mushrooms are soft and the dish is fragrant.
  5. Season with salt and pepper.

Recipe Notes
