Ingredients

  • 4 cups cubed baguette
  • 1/4 cup butter melted
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt skip if using salted butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1.5 teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
  2. Slice baguette into cubes.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk melted butter with seasoning.
  4. Toss bread cubes with seasoned butter.
  5. Spread evenly on a parchment paper lined baking sheet.
  6. Bake for 10 minutes.
  7. Serve immediately or cool completely and store in sealed container for up to 2 weeks.

Recipe Notes

Do not use margarine or spread. It contains water so the croutons will burn and won't be buttery.
