  • 1 cup refried beans
  • 1 cup guacamole see note
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon taco seasoning
  • 1 cup salsa or pico de gallo
  • 1 cup shredded Mexican blend cheese see note
  • 1/2 cup sliced black pitted olives
  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley or cilantro

  1. Mix sour cream with taco seasoning.
  2. In a regular 9" pie plate, layer: refried beans, guacamole, taco spiced sour cream, salsa or pico de gallo.
  3. Top with shredded cheese.
  4. Garnish dip with sliced olives and chopped cilantro.
  5. Serve immediately or cover with saran wrap and refrigerate until serving.
  6. Serve with crispy tortilla chips.

Recipe Notes

For the cheese layer, you can mix shredded cheddar and shredded Monterey Jack or even Pepper Jack cheese.
