Ingredients

  • 1/2 c warm water
  • 1 tsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 2 Tbsp maple syrup
  • 2 Granny Smith apples , peeled, sliced and steamed (see tip)
  • 1/4 c raisins
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Place all ingredients in the blender and blend to smooth.
  2. Pour into a jar with lid.
  3. Store in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
  4. !tip for apples:
  5. If you don't want to steam the apples, you can place the slices and 1/4 c water in a medium saucepan and cook until soft. Drain from remaining water and then place the apples in a blender.
  6. If the apple slices are hot, let them cool before blending into a butter.
