Strawberry coulis is a simple berry sauce you can make in just a few minutes. Use it on ice cream, pound cakes, drizzled over Greek yogurt or even as a salad dressing!

strawberries
washed, hulled and quartered, about 6 oz.

water

granulated sugar
optional if your strawberries are very sweet

lemon or lime juice

Instructions
Place strawberries and water in food processor and process until smooth.
You can strain the mixture at this point.
Add sugar and lemon or lime juice and process until all is mixed well.
Store in a covered container in your fridge until ready to use. Keeps well up to 5 days.
