Fun rice cereal bars made with colorful cereal and mini marshmallows. Great sweet treat for kids!

Ingredients

  • 5 cups Ice Cream Pebbles Rainbow Sorbet or rice krispies cereal
  • 4 Tablespoons butter
  • 1 10 oz pkg mini marshmallows I used Fun-Mallows from Kraft

Instructions

  1. Grease and line a 8" square baking pan OR 13" x 9" baking pan (see note) with parchment paper. Set aside.
  2. Grease a large mixing bowl and a spatula. This will help prevent the mixture to stick to your bowl and spatula. Place cereal in greased bowl.
  3. Reserve 3/4 cup of mini marshmallows and set aside.
  4. In a medium saucepan, melt butter. Add mini marshmallows and melt, stirring constantly.
  5. Pour mixture over cereal and stir together with greased spatula. Add reserved marshmallows and stir in.
  6. Spread mixture in prepared pan. Smooth out the top.
  7. Chill for 1 to 2 hours or until set.
  8. Cut and serve.

Recipe Notes

I used 8" square pan to make thick bars but you can use 13"x9" pan to get more bars.
