Teriyaki  Sauce from scratch!

This homemade Teriyaki Sauce is made from scratch with simple pantry staples. It's sweet and savory, and perfect with any chicken or seafood! Enjoy!

What is it made of? You'll need soy sauce, vinegar, sugar or honey, garlic, cornstarch and ginger.

All you need to do to make it, is combine all ingredients in a saucepan and bring to a simmer. Cook until thickened. Pour over salmon just before baking.

You can also add it to sauteed shrimp.  It will cook quickly and your meal will be done in no time!

However, my favorite way to use it, is to add it to cooked, diced chicken. Serve it with all rice and steamed broccoli.  It's delicious!

Make this sauce in advance and store in the fridge. When you need dinner quick, just add it to the pan with chicken and simmer!
