How to make Hash Browns  from scratch

Ingredients:

- potatoes - oil - salt and pepper

Prepare the potatoes

Peel and shred potatoes using the large hole side of a box grater.

Rinse grated potatoes

Rinse shredded potatoes under tap water, using a colander.

Squeeze moisture out

Place potatoes on paper or kitchen towel and squeeze out the moisture. 

Form hash browns

Heat up oil in a skillet, season potatoes and spread in a thin layer.

Cook until crispy

Cook until golden brown. Flip and cook on the other side. Remove from pan.

Serve and enjoy!

Serve hash browns with eggs, bacon or sausage.
