Salted Caramel Mocha Latte – chocolate and caramel in one creamy and delicious hot drink. It will be your favorite this season!
The chilly weather gives me excuses to make comforting drinks like this one. Chocolate and caramel in one creamy hot drink, topped with whipped cream, drizzled with caramel sauce and a dash of ground cloves. It’s a dessert in a cup. It is one that you will absolutely love!
I was asked by Tate+Lyle® Gourmet Beverage Syrups to use their coffee syrups and create a delicious drink recipe for this season. This is a perfect assignment for a coffee lover like me! I get up very early every morning. The house is quiet and I can enjoy just a little bit of alone time before the kiddos get up. I always look forward to my morning cup of coffee but just a regular ol’ cup of Joe can quickly become boring. Tate+Lyle® Gourmet Beverage Syrups inspired me to create a drink to make the “me time” just a little bit more rewarding. Brilliant!
I love caramel and chocolate together so combining them in a drink was an obvious choice. This latte is sweet and creamy and it goes down easily. Too easily! Add how easy it is to make it and you are in trouble!
Tate+Lyle® Caramel Pure Cane Syrup is perfect for this drink. It adds sweetness and caramel flavor and it’s a great base for this latte. Tate+Lyle® Gourmet Beverage Syrups are Fairtrade certified, with a blend of 100% natural pure cane sugar and come in three fantastic varieties: true Vanilla Pure Cane Syrup, luscious Caramel Pure Cane Syrup, and rich, roasted Hazelnut Pure Cane Syrup. Since 1878, Tate+Lyle® has been a trusted sweetener brand in the U.K. Their pure cane sugars have graced the finest tables in the British Isles and now some of their sugars and syrups are available in the US. Tate+Lyle® Gourmet Beverage Syrups are the perfect way to reward yourself with coffeehouse flavor right at home. Check out the sugars aisle of your local Walmart and try them yourself.
