Shelley says
Dough was very dry and crumbly had to add an extra egg to even get it to all mix up, however it turned out good.
Scarlett Sarnelle says
These bars are out of this world! Perfectly soft, moist and loaded with chocolate. The Reese’s on top take it to the next level. Thank you for the recipe! It’s a keeper!
Carly Merluzzi says
Very crumbly batter! Once baked they came out alright, but still crumbly.
Mary says
I made these bars and the came out great !
My husband loved them, will definitely make them again!
Hannah says
These bars tastes good, but I agree with other reviewers - the proportions are off. The mix was very crumbly, so I added more butter and egg, but it would not come together.
Anna says
Hi Hannah! Did you measure out the flour correctly?
Kylie says
I loved it, it tastes AMAZING and it was such a quick recipe! Mine turned out a little crumbly though, do you know what could’ve caused that? I’d love to do this recipe again and get it right!
Thanks!
Anna says
Hi Kylie! Thank you for trying the recipe! If the dough feels too dry, it's most likely because there is too much flour. I recommend fluffing it in the container you store it in, then spooning into a measuring cup. I hope this helps!
Toni says
My batter was also too crumbly. I ended up adding another 2T each of butter and PB, and it would barely come together. Baked and fell apart upon serving. Tasted good though.
Maureen says
I was a little leery about this recipe the batter seemed very dry but they turn out great. When I make them again I think I’ll put peanut butter cup in the batter instead of chocolate chips.
Anna@CrunchyCreamySweet says
Thank you so much, Maureen! I am so glad you love these bars!
Brenda says
I don't have corn starch? Do I have to have it?
Angela says
Could I double this recipe and bake in a 9x13 pan? Do you think that would work? Would love to try this for a party but I will need more than an 8x8 pan's worth! Lol!
Anna@CrunchyCreamySweet says
Hi Angela! Absolutely! It will work just fine. Let me know how you like these bars!
Siera says
How long would you bake them if you doubled the recipe in a 9x13 pan?
kati says
I baked mine for 28 min in a 13 x 9 pan, and they turned out fabulous looking!
Anna says
Thank you, Kati!
