Perfect Lemon Shortbread Cookies with White Chocolate Drizzle from one of my favorite cookbooks of late!
Remember when I shared the Banana Scones with Cinnamon Glaze from the RecipeGirl cookbook? And then I made the glaze again to use in my Cinnamon Sugar Loaf Cake? It was only the beginning. I probably cooked/baked my way through half of the book already. It has so many fabulous recipes: from breakfast ideas, appetizers, lunches, dinners, menu ideas to desserts.
I made these shortbread cookies with my girls the other day and they decided I should blog about them. They liked them so much! And they were right. These Lemon Shortbread Cookies are so easy and delicious, I already added them to our Christmas Cookie Platter list. You can make the shortbread dough in less than 5 minutes in a food processor. And if the shortbread was not good enough, you dress the cookies up with a white chocolate lemon drizzle. Double win!!
Just like Lori’s blog, the RecipeGirl cookbook is filled with recipes and tips for everyone, for any occasion and any craving. I highly recommend adding it to your cookbook collection. You will love her personal notes included with every recipe. It’s like cooking with a friend!
Here are some of the most tempting recipe titles from the cookbook:
Cheesecake Hot Chocolate
Creamy Greek Scramble
Lemon-Scented Lobster Rolls
Cadillac Margarita Cupcakes
and her famous Cheesecake Cake!
Thank you so much to Lori for a signed copy of her book. I have so much fun cooking from it!
