Cranberry Pomegranate Smoothie
Cranberry Pomegranate Smoothie - power smoothie that's packed with antioxidants! Use the seasonal fruits and whip up this tasty sipper! Recipe source: CrunchyCreamySweet.com
Ingredients
- 3/4 cup pomegranate arils from 1/2 of a medium pomegranate
- 1/2 cup frozen of fresh cranberries
- 1/4 cup Greek yogurt plain or vanilla
- 1/4 cup skim milk any kind you like
Instructions
- Place all of the ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.
- Strain if desired.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
When selecting a pomegranate, go for the heavier one! It has more juice! To separate the arils, cut the pomegranate in half, break into large pieces and submerge in water, in a large bowl. Gently separate the arils under the water. The membrane will float to the surface.

Carol says
I tried a recipe recommended by a friend for colds and for the voice return of the cranberries in orange and a pomegranate all blended together and to eat it I did this for three days my voice improved but not not to where it needed to be as we are both singers The smoothie was quite tart so I added some honey and some yogurt to make it more of a smoothie and I did use Greek plain yogurt. I did not strain, used 12 oz of fresh cranberries, 1 whole pomegranate and 1 large navel orange. I will try again with your recipe because I know the smoothie had potential for being more palatable and delicious. She called it “wild music “.
