Hi Blaire!!! Yay! So happy to see you here! Thank you so much! 🙂 Your comment totally made my day!! PS: These cookies are perfect for the pregnancy cravings 😉

Hi there! I am so sorry the recipe didn't work for you... It sounds like you had too much flour in your dough. It happens often when you scoop the flour with a measuring cup straight from the flour sack. Instead, try scooping it out with a spoon into the cup. I hope this helps!

Our house looks like a bomb exploded @ FAO Schwartz.
I have a bunch of vintage aprons Mom's gotten for me.
Maybe I'll wear them when I'm picking up Daisy's toys?
CrunchyCreamySw says
lol Vintage aprons always work! 🙂 Thanks, Colette!

I don't always consider the variations that could be possible for a classic snickerdoodle cookie. I love the addition of chocolate to these! Perfection!
CrunchyCreamySw says
I didn't either until I stumbled upon this version. Soooo worth it! Thanks, Kate! 🙂

I've been feeling the same way lately. I have even started to invite people over for dinner on Sunday nights so that I can have more organized gatherings rather than just kids parties and football viewings. BTW, I saw these on pinterest yesterday, they look amazing!
CrunchyCreamySw says
Aww, thanks so much, Jackie!

I didn't think snickerdoodles could get any better but the addition of chocolate makes them prize worthy. And when people show up at my house unannounced they get maybe some cheese and crackers but no cookies. I'll have to change that.
CrunchyCreamySw says
These makes for a perfect welcome gift 🙂 Thanks, Nicole!

Aww, thank you, Sally! 🙂

I think the writers behind Desperate Housewife need to come to reality. I know NO mother who bakes wearing pearls and have the house spotless. Yes, I'm always picking toys and my sink it's never empty for for than 5 minutes.
Now I need some cookies in my life, like these snickerdoodles.
Thanks for sharing and thank you for the lovely comment left on my guest post (Meyer Lemon Tart) left on Sommer's (A Spicy Perspective) blog
CrunchyCreamySw says
Your Meyer Lemon Tart is beautiful, Roxana! I would swap a plate of these cookies for just a slice! 🙂

Don't we all wish we had it all "together" with freshly baked muffins for our neighbors in perfect baskets like Bree. I totally agree she had the perfect image of the hostess with the mostess... then it all changed. 🙂
I love the idea of chocolate snickerdoodles. I think having these in the freezer are a great idea for your guests. 🙂
