Chocolate Chunk Cookie Dough Frozen Yogurt – eggless cookie dough packed with chocolate chunks made into fro yo! This treat is amazing!
It’s just had to happen.
There was no way around it.
Take it from me. I have been doing this little series for 8 weeks now. A frozen version of chocolate chip cookies was simply bound to happen.
So, for all of you cookie dough lovers, I give you the Chocolate Chunk Cookie Dough Frozen Yogurt.
Frozen yogurt. It’s the new thing now. Like cookie dough dip used to be.
It’s the last week of July, National Ice Cream Month.
It’s hot so the oven is out of the everyday routine for me.
One plus one makes cookie dough frozen treat.
Aaaaannnnddd, to make you feel good about eating it I made it with yogurt.

- 1 c all-purpose flour
- 1/4 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 c unsalted butter softened, 1 stick
- 1/2 c packed dark brown sugar
- 1/4 c granulated sugar
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 3/4 c chocolate chips or chunks
- 1 c vanilla yogurt
- In a mixing bowl of a stand mixer, beat the butter and both sugars together until light and fluffy. Add vanilla and beat until combined. In a small mixing bowl, whisk together the dry ingredients ( flour, soda and salt ). Add the chocolate chips or chunks and stir. Add the flour and chocolate mixture to butter mixture and fold in gently. Add yogurt and stir again. Place in a container and cover with lid. Freeze until set, preferably overnight.
The total time includes the freezing time.
This is crazy good! Loaded with chocolate chunks and creamy yogurt goodness….. Mmmmm…
