Glazed Peanut Butter Bars
One of the easiest desserts to make are cookie bars. These peanut butter bars require only 10 minutes of prep time and are topped with a creamy peanut butter glaze. Irresistible treat! If I don't make my Flourless Peanut Butter Cookies, I make a pan of these bars and my whole family devours them.
How to make Peanut Butter Glaze?
-
In a microwave-safe measuring cup, melt together butter and peanut butter. Pour into a medium mixing bowl. Whisk together.
-
Add vanilla ( or coffee ) and whisk again.
-
Add powdered sugar and whisk until smooth and spreadable consistency.
-
If you think your glaze is too thick, you can add a splash of milk to thin it out to spreading consistency.
-
Spread the glaze over a warm cake. Let it cool completely until the glaze sets.
