Funfetti Sugar Cookie Cups with Vanilla Frosting – adorable little treats for cookie lovers! Perfect for celebrations, like a bridal shower!
If you follow food blogs, you know that food bloggers love to support each other. It is the most supportive and generous community in the whole internet. We also become friends beyond the pages of our blogs. We share our private life moments and we laugh and cry together. We celebrate each other’s weddings and welcoming each other babies into this world.
Today, a group of bloggers and I are celebrating one of the most important events in our friend’s life – a wedding!
Our friend, Sally from Sally’s Baking Addiction, is getting married this month and we are here today to celebrate it! We all know how much Sally loves treats with sprinkles (aka funfetti) so we all decided to make fun treats with them that would be perfect to serve on a bridal shower.
Coffee Chocolate Chip Cookies aka Mocha Cookies – coffee and chocolate combo in a cookie form! Super easy and so delicious!
I am here today with a super easy cookie recipe, just in time for the afternoon baking! Let’s bake some cookies!
In my recent reader survey, I asked what types of recipes you would like to see more of on Crunchy Creamy Sweet. Cookies were the majority of the answers and I am happy to oblige!
Enter Coffee Chocolate Chip Cookies.
Vanilla Sugar Cookie Dough Ice Cream – super easy homemade ice cream with bits of vanilla sugar cookie dough stirred right in! Also, enter to win an ice cream maker from Hamilton Beach!
What does a baker do in summer? Except, going crazy because you are not supposed to turn the oven on. Even though you are craving that banana bread like crazy. And brownies. And muffins.
You make ice cream.
Fantastic vanilla ice cream that does not require cooking a custard because there are no eggs involved in this treat. I will keep my eggs for the bread and muffins.
Then you take that ice cream and stop yourself from spooning the whole thing right into your mouth, but instead you stir in bits of your favorite funfetti sugar cookie dough (that you can’t bake) right in. And then you blog about it.
Because you love to share your crazy sweet treat ideas.
Because you love to spread a little bit of sweet deliciousness into other people’s lives.
White Chocolate Coconut Cookies – soft sugar cookies packed with white chocolate and coconut. They melt in your mouth!
White chocolate and coconut. One of my favorite combos. I finally made it into a cookie! Soft, chewy, melt-in-your-mouth cookies!
Honestly, it would be quite embarrassing to admit how many of these I inhaled while they were still warm. They are just so good!
If you look at the recipe, you will notice that I used the same base as the Funfetti Birthday Cake Sugar Cookies. I can’t get enough of this sugar cookie base. It’s fantastic! The cookies come out soft and chewy and stay like that for at least 3 days. If you can keep them for that long from yourself and your family that is.
Funfetti Birthday Cake Sugar Cookies – easy and fun treat full of sprinkles and white chocolate chips. Great treat for birthday parties!
If you are following me on Instagram, you know that our oldest daughter takes ballet classes. In just 5 days she will have her recital. The costumes are ready, they have their dance down and are super excited to get on the stage! We are so proud of her! It’s her second year and second recital and I think she is even more excited then the first time.
Me? I am a pile of nerves. I am already freaking out, worrying if we will get there on time, find parking space, not forget a piece of her costume, change in time for the second dance – all of that with three kids in tow. And of course I need to remember to bring tissues for myself. I know already that I won’t be able to hold it. I couldn’t last year so I don’t expect this year be any different.
Peanut Butter Chocolate Granola Cookies – 5-ingredient flourless cookies that are packed with protein! No fancy techniques needed.
I think we all are familiar with the easiest cookies in the world: the flourless peanut butter cookies. The recipe for them is in almost every church cookbook. I have prints from my Hubby’s grandmother that were cut out from a newspaper decades ago.
I made these cookies with my chocolate twist (by adding cocoa powder and chocolate chips) and everyone loved them.
Dark Chocolate Orange Cookies – my favorite cookies of late! Soft yet chewy. The orange-chocolate combo is irresistible! Also, enter to win a Microplane Zester and a stand mixer attachment from BeaterBlade!
It took me three times to take good photos of these cookies. Ugh, the winter light… One of those things I loathe about cold season. The dark and cloudy days.
Not only was I chasing the light but in the same time I was running out of cookies because my kids keep sneaking in to grab one and run for it! It was a challenge but I think I made it. And honestly, I don’t blame them. These cookies are so good! My favorite of late, actually.
