Strawberry Pineapple Smoothie Bowl Recipe – fresh and delicious breakfast idea! Freeze fruit ahead of time for a perfectly thick and refreshing smoothie bowl.
Move over cereal, I am jumping on the smoothie bowl train! This idea is perfect for warm and sunny Summer mornings, when you are craving a delicious breakfast but need it quick. Freeze your favorite fruit combinations in ziploc bags and blend with any kind of milk for a perfectly thick smoothie bowl. Top with slices of fresh fruit, chopped nuts, toasted coconut, chia seeds and enjoy!
My favorite combo of late: pineapple and strawberries! I also add a banana for the texture. Use any milk you like, regular whole milk, 2%, almond or soy. There is no ice needed if you freeze the fruit ahead of time.
My kiddos are truly enjoying a break from their standard cereal and loving this smoothie bowl idea. They all have their favorite toppings and have fun decorating their bowls. I love to make bags of fruit and freeze it so in the morning all I have to do, is blend it all with milk. No ice or chopping fruit needed.
Since Summer is pretty much here, I am obsessed with pineapple and want to eat it every day. If you follow me on Instagram and watch my Stories, you may have seen the no.1 tool I recommend for coring pineapple. It’s THIS one and it’s awesome! Perfect pineapple rings every.single.time. Oh, and don’t throw the actual core out! Add it to the smoothie mix. It may be too hard to chomp on but it will blend perfectly.
If you are looking to boost your Vitamin C intake, you will love my Booster Smoothie. It’s super refreshing and perfect during the cold season. Also, my Beets and Berries smoothie is another magical drink, that boosts your iron intake. And! If you are having trouble to get your kiddos to eat their salad, I recommend my Green Smoothie recipe. it has spinach but it’s sweet and delicious. My kiddos know what’s in it and LOVE it!
